Rhodonite is a manganese silicate mineral occurring in pale pink to a deep red colour.  Associated manganese oxides occur with Rhodonite as black veining, like dendrites or as matrix material.

Rhodonite is a healing, heart chakra associated stone for self compassion.  In deep meditative practice you can review aspects of concern or focus in your emotional, spiritual and physical existence with fresh consideration.  Are you judging yourself too harshly?  To make mistakes is inevitably human, but becoming 'stuck' or 'fixated' on your mistakes does not advance your existence.  Of greater importance is the acknowledgement and accountability for your actions, along with any associated reparations.  You would be surprised how forgiving others are, in the event of open, honest and direct misgivings of a mistake or error of judgement.

This particular carving is known as a Spiky Mohawk Skull; the human skull form but with a dash of spunk, for those appreciating a bit of rebellion in their human experience.  Stone carved into the human skull form is a tool that can be used with meditative practice to expand your consciousness.
